Terms and conditions
Stays and activities we offer are described as accurately as possible (level and what is included). It involves participation in community life.
Registration to one of our stays implies acceptance of terms and conditions of sale. Each customer must fill out a registration form. Registration is accepted with payment of a deposit representing 30% of the total amount according to available places.
If registration is made within 35 days before departure, the total price of the trip must be paid once upon registration. You can make your payment by bank transfer (SWIFT/IBAN) or by credit card directly on the website (available soon).

A confirmation of registration will be sent by mail as soon as we get your registration.
Once your booking is confirmed we will send you by email your invoice. The balance must be paid within 35 days before your arrival.If we do not get the balance of the trip 30 days before your arrival,
Norwide Finland reserves the right to cancel the reservation without penalty.
If for any reason you have to cancel your trip the money you paid will be refunded according to the following deductions:
- Cancellation more than 30 days before departure date: 15% of trip's price will be retained
- Cancellation 30 to 21 days before departure date: 45% of trip's price will be retained
- Cancellation within 20 days of departure date: 100% of trip's price will be retained
You must let us know your decision of cancellation by email, fax or letter. Notice of cancellation will be effective upon receipt of your written communication.These specific conditions will be available on your registration confirmation.
If Norwide Finland has to cancel a departure du to insufficient number of participants, the decision will be made and Norwide Finland will inform its customers no later than 21 days before departure. Norwide Finland may also cancel a departure following special conditions relating in particular to "force majeure", social events, strikes, bad weathern, safety of participants. In these cases participants will be refunded but they will not be entitled to any compensation.
We invite you to take out a travel insurance prior to departure to ensure activities. We ask you to contact us by email your insurance information (company name, name of the contract, number of insurance policy, phone number) and take these information with you during your stay.
CHANGE OF YOUR BOOKING
If, after our confirmation has been issued, you make a change to your existing booking more than 30 days prior to departure, we will charge an amendment fee of 45€ per person. If the change occurs within 30 days of departure it will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and will be subject to cancellation charges.
In any case you must let us know these changes in writing.
PRICES AND CHANGE OF PRICES
All prices we advertise are accurate at the date published, but we reserve the right to change any of those prices. Prices on our website are updated regularly. Before you make a booking we will give you the up-to-date price of your chosen holiday including supplements, upgrades or additional facilities which you have requested. If the number of participants is less, a small group surcharge may be applied.
For all stays we include services, prices and details and what is not included. Any changes in exchange rates, prices of various components of a journey can cause a readjustment of prices.
HEALTH AND ADMINISTRATIVE CONDITIONS
We are able to advise on mandatory health requirements; however, we are not medical experts. It is your responsibility to ensure that you obtain proper and detailed medical advice at least two months prior to travel for the latest health requirements, recommendations for your destination and any costs. Where you do not do so and either are not allowed to enter any country, or suffer personal injury or death as a result, we have no liability to you for any cost, loss or damage which you suffer nor will we refund you the cost of any unused portion of your travel arrangements. Clients with existing medical problems, pregnant women and anyone who has recently visited other countries should check requirements with their general practitioner.
It is your responsibility to comply with the regulations and procedures of police, customs and health at any time of the trip. Each customer must take responsability for having the correct passport and visas. If you fail to do so, we have no liability to you for any cost, loss or damage which you suffer, nor will we refund you the cost of any unused portion of your travel arrangements. Practical information contained in our technical data are given as an indication.
We can not be held responsible for the following events: delay or inability of a participant to submit documents required, loss of these documents or unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstances such as strikes, social events, weather... Any trip interrupted or shortened because OF the participant for any reason whatsoever shall not give rise to any refund. The information contained in our technical data are given as an indication. We reserve the right to modify at any time.
Given the nature of our trips , each participant is aware of the risks he can run, due to the remoteness of medical centers. Each participant therefore assumes these risks knowingly and undertakes not to blame for accidents that may occur Norwide Finland and guides or different providers. If the circumstances require, in particular to ensure the safety of the group , due to weather conditions or unforeseen events, Norwide Finland reserves or through its tour leaders the right to substitute a direct means of transport , accommodation , a route to another, and the dates and times of departure , without the participants being able to claim any compensation.
Each participant must comply with the rules of caution and follow the advice given by the tour leader. Norwide Finland can not be held responsible for accidents which are caused by the carelessness of a single group member. Norwide Finland reserves the right to remove at any time a group a person whose behavior may be considered as endangering the safety of the group or well- being of participants. No compensation shall be payable to the client.
Minor participants remain permanently under the responsibility of the holder of parental authority or his representative designated by him, and accompanying him during the trip
Luggage remain permanently under the responsibility of customers. Do not ask your tour to watch your luggage. Please check with the airline regarding luggage allowance limits and the maximum allowable single item baggage weight. The air carrier is liable for destruction, loss or damage to baggage. In the case of checked baggage, it is liable even if not at fault, unless the baggage was defective. In the case of unchecked baggage, the carrier is liable only if at fault. If the baggage is damaged, delayed, lost or destroyed, the passenger must write and complain to the air carrier as soon as possible.
During your stay your luggage will be often transported by simple means (buses, 4x4 gallery, sledge). In case of damage Norwide Finland may not consider any complaint about it.
The day of the appointment, even if it is late at night, and the arrival day even if it is early are included in the travel time. There must be a rule!
We do not assume the additional costs caused by the early morning or late hours of departure or return. Prices are fixed and can not give rise to any refund in case of morning or late departure/arrival time.
ASSIGNMENT OF CONTRACT
Were you unable to travel you can transfer your booking to another person, subject to the following:
a) you must notify us in writing
b) the transferee must fulfil any conditions that apply to the booking
c) Change and cancellation fees apply
Both the transferor and transferee will be jointly and severally liable for payment of the holiday price and other associated expenses. Some airline carriers treat name changes as cancellations. Accordingly you may be required to pay for the cost of a new ticket.
Any claim relating to travels must be made within 15 days after the date of return by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt together with all supporting documents to Norwide:
